Zeppelin Power and Damen Naval Collaborate on PES Frigate for Colombia
 

November 12, 2025. Zeppelin Power has been selected by Damen Naval to supply four (4) Caterpillar Main Diesel Generator Sets (C32) and a Caterpillar Emergency Diesel Generator (C9.3) for the Plataforma Estratégica de Superficie (PES) frigate for the Colombian Navy in collaboration with COTECMAR. The PES Frigate will be based on the design of Damen Naval’s SIGMA Multi-Mission Frigate 10514.

The generator sets supplied by Zeppelin Power will ensure reliable and efficient power for the ship’s critical systems, supporting both operational performance and crew safety. Delivery of the equipment is scheduled for mid-next year.
